FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Absolutely! In fact, we cannot assure you that the piece of equipment you need will be available without a reservation.
No. However, we do ask that if you need to cancel, you give us 24 hours notice.
It is difficult to say; We suggest as soon as you are certain that you will need it!
Yes. Delivery charges depend on whether the delivery requires a trailer, and of course, the mileage. We charge a flat rate delivery and pickup charge within Brownwood/Early city limits, and then charge per mile after that.
We gladly accept all types of credit cards and debit cards with a credit card logo. We accept cash with a current credit card on file. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to accept checks from new customers.
Because we want to enjoy our weekends as much as you do! We do try and accommodate you by just charging a *1 day rental over the weekend.
During the week, any piece of equipment can be gone from our store for a maximum of 24 hours for the 1 day rate. On equipment containing an hour meter, a maximum of 8 hours can be used on the meter.
Should you use more than 8 hours, simply take the daily rental rate of that particular piece of equipment, divide it by 8, and now you have the hourly rate. We charge by the 10ths of an hour over, so you are simply charged for what you use.
There is no discount for using fewer than the allocated eight hours.
Small items leave full of gas. Big equipment(usually with an hour meter) leaves full also, however on these items, the rentee is responsible for returning the equipment full. We do have gas and diesel on site, and can fill your rental back up for you and add the charges to your ticket. We try and stay very close to what the pumps are charging.
1 Day Over the Weekend Fee
This applies to equipment that is picked up between 3-5:00pm on Friday, and returned between 7:30-8:30am the following Monday. For equipment with an hour meter, 8 hours is allowed for the 1 day charge.
Delivery and Pickup - How it Works
For any item that can fit in the back of our shop truck, and only requires 1 worker to deliver, the rate is as follows:
- $25 flat rate for deliveries within Brownwood/Early city limits
- $3 for every mile outside of these city limits
- the same charge for delivery will apply to the pickup
For example, Joe Smith needs 2 tables and 20 chairs delivered to 4400 Austin Avenue. The delivery charge would be $25, and the pickup charge would also be $25.
Jane Doe needs the same quantity of tables and chairs delivered to her home in Bangs,TX. The charge for delivery to Bangs would be $55 (flat $25 charge plus 10 miles @ $3/mile), and the pickup charge would be $55 as well.
For those items requiring delivery with a truck and trailer, such as a backhoe, the delivery fee is:
- $30 flat rate for deliveries within Brownwood/Early city limits
- $4 for every mile outside of city limits
- the same delivery charge will apply to the pickup charge
Joe Smith now needs a tractor delivered to his home on Austin Avenue. The delivery charge would be $30, and the pickup charge would be $30, for a roundtrip fee of $60.
Jane Doe needs a similar tractor in Bangs. The delivery for her would be $70 each way ($30 flat rate plus 10 miles @ $4/mile), or $140 roundtrip.
